Anyone else noticed IGN are getting pretty slow at reviewing games, no Elders Scroll Review yet, and considering the New Tomb Raider is out soon no review for that either, I mean there suppose to be one of the biggest gaming info sites out there so they should have good connections with the game developers/publishers to get pre release games, so how come they are so slow at posting reviews?...I mean yes there are alot of games coming out but Elders Scrolls and Tomb Raider are two Big games...sometimes they won't even post a review a few days after a game is released...

Tbh, gaming sites in generally seem to have been taking their time to get new reviews out, I wouldn't single out IGN. At least IGN are still getting them out before the competition. Maybe the're giving the games a more thorough run0through before issuing scores?

Blimey, I'd forgotten about StarCraft Ghost. Hasn't it been in production for ages now – has it been cancelled?

Why would you wanna read an IGN review anyway? have they ever scored a game below 6/10? every game they ever review gets an above average mark

I can't say I trust IGN's reviews, but given their optimism you just have to shift the scoring scale along to know what is a really great game i.e. if something gets >9.5 then probably it will be something special! :)

Actually although I tend to take IGNs scores with a pinch of salt, I find they're usually ahead of the other online reviewers. I prefer Gamespot for reviews as their videos work better(by the way, are they run by the same people as they're nearly always similar reviews & scores?).

I quite like acegamez.co.uk and sometimes they get reviews of games which seem to get totally missed by everyone else. Again the scores are nearly always over generous but I don't care about scores too much, I just want to read about the how the game is.

From reading their most recent hands-on, they only got their hands on the game at the end of last week/beginning of this one. I imagine they're trying to cover as much of the game as they can, and this will take a long time if the game is as big as we've heard.

Gamespot recently did a 12-hour straight marathon on the game so obviously the game is huge. Given that hardly anyone has come back with any reviews they probably all got the game late and hopefully should see some reviews early next week.

You can't trust reviews from any of the sites really dure to the fact each person has there own option on somthing and when you read what places like Gamespot put you can clearly see theres fanboys in there and people in there that just dont like somthing before they even played it.

Stating about biased reviews, a lot of the large reviewers feel obliged to give games a good review otherwise the PR people will just stop communication. Although this is wrong it's the way it's panning out.

Sorry but you have it soooooo wrong. Fair enough you didn't like Oblivion, I know lot's of people who don't, but you can't slate the Eldar Scroll series, they are the greatest RPG's ever writen!!! I play Morrowind for over 100 hours and still never compleated it!!!
