      And finally

The third new product Samsung highlighted at their Unpacked event came in the form of the 2014 edition of the Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet.

It's equipped with WQXGA 2560x1600 resolution in a 10-inch display and features a 1.9 GHZ Octa Core processor for the 3G / WiFi versions. There's also 3GB of RAM to speed operations up.

“The new Galaxy Note 10.1 is the most progressive 10-inch tablet, delivering the best viewing and multitasking experiences. It is the most recent demonstration of Samsung Mobile's focus on constant product innovation to stay aligned with shifting consumer interests,” said JK Shin.

The device has been redesigned with a light, slim frame and the screen delivers four times the pixel density of the original Galaxy Note 10.1.

The device’s screen size also helps with multitasking. With Multi Window, users will be able to run separate instances of the same application, and use an enhanced S Pen to drag and drop content from one window to another. Pen Window enables users to draw a window of any size on the screen, and instantly access unique in-application features such as YouTube or a calculator.

The updated S Pen included with Galaxy Note 10.1 improves responsiveness and also includes Galaxy Note 3's updated S Pen features such as Action Memo, Scrapbook, Screen Write and S Finder.

The device should release toward the end of September.

Finally they made a tablet with a resolution greater than the miserable 800 pixel of their previous ones. I have been waiting for a Samsung tablet like that. Although, I might go with the Sony Xperia Z which is here already.

This is great news, as I'm currently saving money for a Tablet. I had settled on the current version of the 'Note 10.1' that's available, but I think I'll scrap that idea and go for this new one instead :)

For all the better specs of this one in comparison with previous model it seems awfully expensive for only 16GB. UK prices.

Hmmm, that's a bit of a game changer. Think I'll just get the old version while it's still available for around £340.
