IFA 2012: Toshiba show off 2 new Soundbars

    One with sub, one without

    Toshiba announced two new sound bars out in Berlin designed to provide a ‘complete surround sound’ experience when enjoying entertainment from any device in the Toshiba 3D Sound Bar SB1-SBK1 and Toshiba Mini 3D Sound Bar with Subwoofer - SBM1W.

    Both new Sound Bars provide ‘3D’ sound performance from small bodies, for those looking for a compact solution. The Toshiba 3D Sound Bar SB1-SBK1 comes in a classic sound bar design, while the small and compact Toshiba Mini 3D Sound Bar with Subwoofer - SBM1W is a bit more versatile and multi-purpose. Both new models are equipped with Sonic Emotion Absolute 3D technology dedicated selectable tuning modes allow users to adjust the sound to their preferred settings.

    The Mini 3D Sound Bar is designed for smaller spaces and to enhance the sound of different multimedia devices, the Mini 3D Sound Bar can easily connect to TVs, laptops, tablets and smartphones using one of many wired connections, or wirelessly via Bluetooth with an output of 60W which is accompanied with a small external wired subwoofer.

    The 3D Sound Bar SB1-SBK1 features six speakers including a built-in subwoofer which combine to deliver an output of 80 Watts.

    The Toshiba Mini 3D Sound Bar with subwoofer SBM1W will be available from Q4 2012 and the 3D Sound Bar SB1-SBK1 will be available in 2013.
