Thanks for bringing my attention to this Steve.

Both me and the Mrs have just viewed all the photos - about halfway through I could feel the wife's tears on my arm, and I too was in floods of tears.

This really touched a nerve and makes you realise just how lucky we are.

To see a child in pain, and the devastating effect on the family, is truly heart wrenching.

It does bring everything into perspective.

I started viewing the pictures this morning and within a few minutes was moved to tears. Every parent would say that they would walk through brick walls for their children - well this lady did it in spades and showed tremendous courage and character to care for her son during his illness.

The picture that showed her moments before Derek received his injection was truly incredible. Emotional is not the word.

Christ that was pretty tough viewing.

Would need a Heart of stone to not shed a tear or 2 after viewing those pics.

Incredible stuff. Powerful insight to what cancer of one can do to other souls.

Makes you realise just how lucky some of us are.
