    Hi,
I have an XBOX 360 as an extender to my MCE machine and have always had a problem getting it to connect after the PC has come out of standby. There is an MS KB article about this which just tells you to get the latest network card drivers and if that doesn't work then don't use standby - really useful, NOT ! Anyway, to cut a long story short, I found out how to fix this problem. You have to go in to the device manager and select the properties for the network adapter. There should be a power tab. On this tab, there is a check box which says something like 'Allow windows to switch off this device to save power'. This box is checked by default - un-check it and click 'OK'. You should now find that the problem goes away :) I suspect this is not a problem with all network adapters but for mine which is a 3com Gigabit on an ASUS motherboard it certainly was.
