as the thread says?
On top of it.
Fortunatley on my model (Tosh 40WH08B), there is just enough flat surface to hold the centre speaker.
I have done the same with my Tosh 40WH03B (same case as the 08B) but have added some very small rubber feet which catch the back of the ledge to prevent it falling forward.
The ledge is more or less flat and I have never been worried about the speaker moving about.
Don't bother thinking about an optional stand (unless you have one already). The general view is that with many RPTVS it will change the viewing angle detrimentally.
You would think that manufactures would accomadate for central speakers and have a small flat area on top of RP TVs, or is this too much to ask?
Mine is on a single-column speaker stand in front of the tv.
I used to put a old Pioneer Hi-Fi speaker on a stool in front when we watched a DVD but now I have a shelf on the wall behind/on top of the TV with a "proper" centre on.
