    Two things I heard of in the last 2 just astounds me.

    1st case a woman that was up in court for doing 100MPH in her car on the roads, and was let a ban because it was said that it would affect her career as a up and coming racing driver. This is not a few MPH over the limit but 30MPH.

    An other people that incite racial hatred and encourage bombing were mooted that they would be deported, but the usual brigade said it would be inhumane because they may be subject to torture and even death. So it OK for them to stir up ill feelings and get innocent people killed that are going about there peaceful lives?

    Seems in both cases the solution lied within the grasp of both parties;

    If you do not want to be banned form diving don’t speed

    If you don’t want to get deported. stop inciting bombings in a country that’s taken you in and is a darn site better that the one you do not want to be deported back to.

    Is this similar to syncronized swimming - just kidding.

    I was furious about that police officer getting found not guilty for doing 159 mph, and 80 mph in a 30 limit.
    He claimed he was "familiarising himself" with his new high speed vehicle. This was in his own time, unsupervised and not on duty,
    All other officers use the special tracks and facilities for this purpose.
    His own force charged and prosecuted him.
    He did not deny his actions.
    How then did magistrates then decide no offence was committed.
    I may have been less disturbed if he had been found guilty but given a minor punishment due to, what they perceived to be, mitigating circumstances.

    Yeah.. that one was an absolute farce.

    Especially seeing as a couple of bikers got jailtime for committing exactly the same offence sometime last year!!
