If the Metroid Prime trilogy got a Switch HD makeover would you buy it?

I loved replaying it again on WiiU but some of the graphics in the first two do look rather clunky in places. A Twilight Princess style 1080p FullHD makeover though would have me all over it again though. The gameplay has not dated at all. Solid gold. They could include both the original controller and Wii style controller modes while they are at it. Whaddya think? Would you triple dip? :)

That sounds amazing - I think it's possible and I think the game would stand up perfectly. Metroid prime 1 and Mario Galaxy 1&2 are the games I'd most like to see remade.

I would, provided you didn't have to use motion controls. Never got on with the Wii controls.

You should try them with Metroid prime - I know motion controls were often badly used but in this game they're phenomenal.

I would 1000% pick an HD remake up. Love the trilogy, the first one was really something special though.

Metroid Prime on GameCube was one the first games I bought on GameCube - absolute classic - I only managed to 97% it and couldn't quite find the last item to scan. I would definitely buy a HD remake.

I'd be all over that! Didnt get on with the motion controls though, never been a big fan of them and however well implemented they were on Prime, they didnt sway me. Give me a conventional controller set up, HD Prime Trilogy, a lifetime supply of pizza and cola and I'm golden!

I know it's just come out last year but I've just started Samus returns and as fun as it is I'd love to be playing it with a proper controller. I wouldn't say no to a 3d version of the original or super metroid to go with it. I liked the first prime but started to struggle on the sequels, I think it was about the time I started to get bored of shooting titles.

Without a moments hesitation & as has been mentioned previously I would certainly be in for a remaster of the two mario galaxy games also.

I see this as a no brainer for Nintendo. Higher resolution, better textures (particularly on the first two, three is fairly respectable in that department) and flexible controller modes (thanks to the flexibility of the Switch control options) and the trilogy lives and breathes again and perfectly gets the public ready for episode 4. Make it so Nintendo!

In a heartbeat. Wonderful games and a nice lead up to MP4.

As mentioned above, remasters of the Mario Galaxy games would also be great.

The Last Story is another I'd like to see.
