    Hi,
Will I lose signal quality if you daisy chain through more than 1 recording device with a aerial cable?

    Thanks,

Should be OK with VCRs, because they have an internal amp for RF pass through to avoid loss. I think you might see a small increase in graininess though, due to the multiple connections.

    HI,
    Thanks for reply,

The aerial cable would first going into my DVD recorder, then into my S-VHS VCR, and then into my TV.

    Does this sound OK?

They all connect to the TV with their own SCART cable.

    Thanks for reply

Yep, that's the way to do it, just make sure that the Scart from the DVD is carrying RGB and the Scart socket on the TV is set to receive RGB. Do the same for the S-VHS VCR, making sure this is set for S-Video output and the TV for S-Video input. Then connect the DVD and VCR together if you want to make DVD copies of any VHS recordings you need.

Also get good cables between the units as the mains leads motors etc are the most likely cause of interferance. You could get a 4 way masthead amp and give each its own clean signal>
Pricey but makes the inevitable digital upgrade all the more easy (when manufacturers start putting digital decoders into items like DVD recorders etc Which should be in a couple of years...

Ignore above statment (duster) just noticed you are not in the UK!!!!
But left it in as others who are may find it useful
