Just wondering that if a DVD player can decode MP3 is this only available through its analogue outputs or can it go digitally to a DAC?

I presume that since it digitally decoded it can't go to a DAC.

    Right!?!?

    It can go to both.

If you want to get sound out from ANY digital source (including CD, mp3, SACD, DVD-A, DVD-V) it HAS to go thorugh a DAC at some point.
