Hi,
Have been searching the AVS Forums up to now, great to know that there is also a wealth of expertise closer to home :hiya:

I`m having a InFocus 4805 soon, it will be ceiling mounted (when it arrives). Will be used for watching DVD`S, Room other than white ceiling will be pretty much darkened out. I have read good things in these threads of the DRH screen material, but would really like to get the Da-Lite High Contrast Cinema Vision material. Does anyone know of a retailer that will ship to the UK from the US for a good price? Have searched the AVS Forums with no joy.
Having said that has anyone any experiance of how the the Da-Lite and DRH material match up against each other?

Any views and help appreciated.

I know it's nothing to do with your screen but be careful you take account of the Vertical Offset % when ceiling mounting the 4805; this has caught a few people out and is a limitation you should understand before buying... other than that the 4805 is a superb choice :)

Digisocialist,

Appreciate your post, it is something I have been thinking about, I believe that Infocus have it all set up for a 8` ceiling height with you using a 5" drop for the mount. On AVS a member called Krazimusik has link to show the offsets of the projector, which shows the projected height of the image, or something like that. It is something that I will be looking at, by the way I have a 7` 6" ciling height..

I finally mounted my 4805 on the ceiling this week. We do have high ceilings and we're pjing over a high mantlepiece, but the imagine "hits the spot". Just a couple of degrees on the keystoning - better than when we had it on the table. Now's time to set up the picture options properly, until I get a screen...
