I have a Silverstone LC20 case and Abit AB9 Pro board. The LC20 has a front mounted Firewire port but the standard cable is too short to reach the pin block on the far side of the board from where they enter the case.

Does anyone know if it is possible to get an extension cable. I haven't been able to find one listed. The pin configuration is shown here

It's always worth contacting silverstone and seeing if they could send you a longer cable. They are usualy a fairly good company to deal with and if they happen to have longer cables that they use in other model cases then it wouldn't cost them much to bung on in the post to you.

Let us know what their reply is to such a request.

The routing in these cases has always been strange. It's not too hard to reroute through one of the middle holes in the front which should then give you enough room. There's often a little white clip holding the existing cable in place where it currently enters the main space. This is easy to unpop.

I had given up on Silverstone and set about rerouting last night. Finally got it done with most of my fingers remaining and after a lot of cursing. In accordance with "Murphy's Law", I got an email from Silverstone this morning with the easy way to do it....DOH!
