    Hiya,

At work I our servers have redundant power supplies, each going into a separate UPS.

I'd like to have a different colour cable for each UPS/PSU pair so I can look at the back and know what cable goes where.

Only thing is I'm struggling to search for the right term.

With a rats nest I just put pieces of different colour insulating tape along each cable, you could even put a piece on the matching PSU and UPS.

Thanks. never thought about buying unterminated cable with the correct connetor types. At least that way I can make them to measure.

Although I do exactly that with network cables.
