I have fixed this before but its reoccuring now for some reason.
When I type www or the start of any address in the Internet Explorer Bar it shows recently visited sites, remind me how to make it stop again please
    Clearing history doesn't help obviously!
    Cheers.

You need to clear your recently viewed documents to clear the IE address bar.

To do this you need to right click on the task bar and click on properties, then go into the start menu tab, click on customise. Another box will pop up, click on the advanced tab and then click the clear list button.

That should clear what ever you are trying to hide ;)

Other than that get yourself something like Track Erase Pro which can do it automatically at shutdown.
