I currently have a rather old and small NAS drive (not UPNP) which holds a fair few video files (350mb avi type) and rather a lot of photos and music

Currently this is just accessed by an even older XBMC

I am debating getting a Popcorn Hour but not 100% sure exactly what it is or how it would work for me

Let me try and explain what I want to do

(1) Have some central area to store the majority of my media
(2) Be able to play that media back on my XBMC and PS3 which are in different rooms
(3) Have some form of quality media player in my AV room to also play these files

on top of that I would quite like to be able to get rid of my PC which is only used to download files (use laptop for everything else) and I belive the Popcorn can do this for me to

finally - can any Hard Drive be fitted into the Popcorn ? I have a 1 TB hard drive that I took from a MyBook, would this work
