    Hi again,

I hope this is an easy one but I have just bought a couple of machines (Panny E85 and the E95 which is identical to my original one that I bought a couple of years ago)

The problem I have is that although the E85 plays my copied discs the exact model (E95) only plays 1 sort of recorded disc. (i.e. I have used data write red and grey ones only and it wont play the grey ones)

I have had a quick look at the settings but cant spot anything straight away.

So can anybody please please HELP!! :lease:

    Any ideas anyone please.

I have no problems with my other 2 recorders (EX95 and EX85) but my latest EX95 comes up with non recordable disc and I have tried another top quality disc with the same message coming up.

    Anything to try please

    Malc

    Use some decent discs.

i.e. Panasonic 1~16x DVD-R Taiyo Yuden with the TYG03 dye. Then it will work on all machines.

    I agree with Royold.

This is likely to be one of those peculiar disk type incompatibilities.

Panasonic machines respond exceedingly well to the top quality discs that Royold mentions above.
