Ideas to get non AVF'ers out of the lobby

The amount of times we have a almost full AVF lobby is quite frequent.

Sadly the start of getting this can take a while with only one or two AVF'ers on the other team whilst we wait for the randoms to back out.

Any ideas on how to get shot of the randoms in a polite and friendly way?

Yes the old...so and so will ya **** off please has worked in the past but it doesn't always work.

Also all the AVF lads putting AVF as their clan tags seems to work.

Any other ideas?

Surely everyone doing their impression of Subo over their mics will do the trick??

That could work.

I honestly dont know if I could stoop so low though.

Is this in FFA or do you actually get full team games too?

I think the AVF tag works best, if i see a clan i get worried and thing they'll be good.

If everyone just has AVF as the clantag, its teh best way other than,

'Oi! Opp it matey! '

I think keeping the clan tag on is good, not so much to intimidate randoms, but to actually keep track of everyone and make sure no one gets lost.

Sadly it seems it's only private games which have the kick option.

I don't mind playing with a few randoms, most are ok, just happy to be along for the ride with a group playing the game properly. It's the screaming kids I find a bit of a grind.

could try all squeezing our nads really hard then trying to sing some rap "tune"/ argue with each other
failing that all whistle down the mic.

So could get 12 people into a party and all go in a game of Team Deathmatch, filling it up?

Reason I ask is that I sometimes play with guys from work and we usually play ground war but restrict it to 9 people in the party so we all stay on one team.

We had a random join our team and he started rapping and acting like a 'G' (his "words", not mine).

We made fun of his antics and he soon left.

What is it about xbox live that brings out the bellends.

Granted I swear like a trooper and will give chew to cheating/gloating ***** in the lobby after a match.

But what makes people think I know i will go and rap to a bunch of strangers who couldnt give a **** if I died tomorrow on xbox live and then I will fall asleep knowing they know how ****ing cool I am.

A lot of these clowns seem obsessed with asking me to "1v1" them, in something called "quik scopes init" :suicide:........and all the references to "ur mum" blah blah blah.

I've said for a long time that the Halo community has some idiots, but my oh my, COD takes the biscuit on the idiot front.

I'm waiting for the duet with Frankie...

we're in the studio as i speak.

we've got Horse on backing vocals. :D

the title of the song is, "Get out of the lobby you filthy ho, don't you know, don't you know (that Subo says no!)"

it's a great little rap number following in the footsteps of eminem and dr. dre.

Not quite like that, some go into lobby as a party and while the game is trying to fill the lobby up invite others in to the game only, not the party. i.e some in party some not, then those in party can back out 1 at a time while others invite them back in and hey presto one lobby with your mates, teams being mixed up and only randoms appearing when spaces become available.

I was gonna suggest telling them that we are boosters but any of the kids would just stay.

Ask them to leave nicely with an explenation of why.. if they don't go, whoevers team they are on all pick riot shield class and just back them into a corner so they can't move:clap:

It would certainly pithe me off.

Here's a novel idea. Why don't you just play private matches? :suicide:

You can't expect to play on a public server and then pick and choose who you play with, almost makes you as bad as boosters and glitchers in my opinion.

Why?

If a space comes up and an AVF'er fills it whats the problem?

If one lobby is full of entirely AVF then I cant see it being a major issue for people who have millions of other lobbies to enter and play with randoms.

but we are not cheating?
neither expect to do anything, if someone leaves.. great, but we played for hours last night with three europeans in our game with people waiting to come in, it was fine, i dont expect them to leave so we can play, would like, yes.

Long time no see Gray - how you doin mate?? Sticking with MW2??

I think the idea about getting a room full of AVFers is that you get to play with (fairly) sensible people, AND still earn XP/complete challenges etc. I suppose its the equivalent of playing Custom Games in Halo - yes, its the best way to play with your mates, but ultimately it feels a little flat.
