How long does it need to be, if you only need a short one there are wuite a few choices for that price, if you need somthing longer, I use the QED Qunex Two it's £44 for a 6m length, you can also get longer lengths and obviously the shorter lengths are much cheaper. Have a look at www.hificables.co.uk personally I don't think you need to spend loads on a sub cable as it's only a mono signal, as long as you have decent connectors which the QED has it should be fine. I'll probably get an REL sub soon and I'm sticking with my QED cable.

    Also look at www.scorpioncables.com
Got their sub cable and it improved the bass output from my Velo and I was happy with it before.
Prices from £24 for 1m length.

    Mark.

Alternatively use a cheaper cable and turn your sub up;)

I've never really found much of a difference with sub cables tbh.

    Why not make your own?
You can buy decent phono plugs and pro spec mic cable from maplins. (good shielding)
If you can solder, it should take no more than 1HR to make....

Phono cable with a seperate core (for grounding) is also available.
This is not found on normal sub cables and alows you to conect sub to amp chasis to rid earth loop if amp is floating...

    Just my 2p's worth:smoke:

I bought a 10m Profigold cable from a good reseller on ebay who always has new 3,5 and 10m sub cables available. A 3m one can be found here .

I'm using mine with a Rel Storm and now a new Servo 15 and I don't think it will be worth upgrading to anything more.
