krusty - not quite sure what you are asking here but from this review of the R4 version the DTS version appears to be very tasty

Personally I found the DTS R2 much better than the DD R1.

Although it seems I was alone in that.

the review i read[ on this site] said there was very little to seperate them, and if you have the 5 star version just stick with that. but ive read more reviews saying the dts version is thunderous on the r2 version! so that makes me think is the thunderous version the dutch and jap r2 ?

Play have it they just don't list it as DTS. It's a horrible price there, use CD Wow.

THe UK R2 disc is far from thunderous, comparing the DD and DTS tracks on the disc (with properly calibrated sound system) there is very little to seperate the two to my ears. I must listen to every DTS disc going at the moment and very few blow the DD track away as is the popular belief. I now have the Japanese R2 disc here and the packaging is cool. I will get the review done in the next day or so.

BTW the Japanese R2 has a 768kbps DTS track and a 448kbps DD track, the same as the UK R2 disc, and the same extras albeit some in Japanese language text.
