This is the film that always featured in BBC's bank holiday and christmas schedule.

It is the film you may have always had on when guest came round, and that you never really paid attention too. You never saw it from start to finish. Was Patrick McGoohan, really who he said he was? What was so imortant about the satellite. Did submarines really have a typewriter at the centre of their communications centre back in the late 60's?

Well after 36 years (my age), I have finally watched this film all the way through.

    Hoo bloody ray !!!!!!!

I now have all the answers.

    My life is complete.

Did you know that allegedly, this was Howard Hughes favourite film.

Also there are no Zebras in it or even bra's.

Did you know it is only about half the story that was in the book? Which is well worth a read.
