If we still had a proper Apple forum this question would be so much easier to categorise...
I tried to put a couple of new books on my iPad today, however it didn't all go according to plan. I have the books in iBooks on my Macbook pro. They open fine and I can read them on using the iBooks app on the laptop.
I went into iTunes, and the books appear in iTunes as audiobooks, even though they are written word books. When they uploaded to my iPad Air they are still categorised as audiobooks, and can't be opened because iBooks on my iPad tries to treat them as audio files the book cover appears on the screen along with controls to play, pause etc.
Anyone have any idea what is going wrong?
