I don't know about the UK but the European 4 disc-edition (2 discs The Mummy + 2 discs The Mummy Returns) has DTS on both movies...
Also take a look on www.electronicreality.co.uk (and check out the DTS list).

I don't own either film, but I'm sure The Mummy Returns R2 is DTS? If not, I'm even more sure that the R4 version is.... as far as I'm aware, it's only the R1 version that went without a DTS track.

Edit: How embarassing.... I just read Whatts post and it made me realise I didn't even check the list on my site! Anyway, it seems I was right, R2 & R4 are DTS.

As I have both discs individually I can confirm that the R2 version of The Mummy Returns is both DD5.1 & DTS.

Both R2 and R4 have DTS as they have the extras on a 2nd disk unlike R1 where because it is all on only 1 disk there is no space for DTS.
BTW UK R2 is cut by 1 sec for a headbutt (Universal wanted to keep as cert 12 rather than 15) unlike mainland Europe & R4.
