Although annoyingly, the Hoya UV filter I bought with it has a little chip out of the edge

Edited - the f/1.8 I mean...far too early in the morning to be touch typing, and badly at that :)

I sort of grunted at the delivery guy when he handed me the package - I was barely able to write my own name :rotfl:

good news about the kit, shame about the filter. I had butter fingers last week and dropped my hoya it fell edge first from about 5ft! hit the end of the bed (metal frame) then bounced off a cardbox box and finally hit the carpet, but luckily had no scratches.

Well - to be fair to Warehouse Express you wouldn't have seen the damage without taking the filter out of the box so I won't blame them for that. Very impressed with the service though.

I now also have a brand new Manfrotto 055B with the 029 head to go with it and sort out camera shake once and for all!
