:hiya: There's an exclusive I, ROBOT CLASSIC COLLECTION box set only available from MVC apparently its a lot better and contains more goodies than the Amazon 'tin'.
Apart from the two disc Special Edition DVD, there is a Set of 6 Black & White Publicity Stills, UK 2004 Cinema Press Campaign Booklet, Set of 8 colour images taken from the feature, a collectible limited edition film cel (image from the film and 35mm film frame) and a reproduction of the original UK cinema poster (27” x 40” - one sheet) in-pack offer.

Normally these box sets retail for about £40 but think MVC is priced at around £32-34.

I just ordered the Jap R2 2-disc Special Edition for $43.75 . This one looks good, I didnt know it was around. BTW the amazon tin isn't an official one, doesn't look very attractive to me at all. I prefer NTSC dvd's anyway :D

£100 is asking a little too much, and thats before customs. I think you can store the DVD's in the head though...

I cancelled my order and bought the R3 Special Edition, £9.99 at cd-wow. You cant go wrong.

Thank you very much! I always wondered where this originated from!

I wanted something a little different from teh bulk standard i, Robot Dvd's you see in the shop. I was eyeing up the "Sonny" head set on eBay, but was a little out of my price range, so settled for this at a reasonable £9.xx...

I also believe there is a similar Pulp Fiction set. I have seen one in my local Virgin Megastore, but they want £50 for it... Perhaps i'd pay £30, but not £50...

Hmmm, yeah, i've seen that. Wow, what a cut in price! So is this tin set virtually the same as the Classics box set then? It looks to have most the same stuff inside...
