Just watched I Robot that Santa gave me.

According to DVDCompare.net there are no cuts to the DVD, but when watching the film I noticed a few obvious cuts to the language/swearing etc, particularly with the lad who Will Smith saved from all the robots.

    Has anyone else noticed this?

Oops, should have said it's the R2.

The most noticeable cut is when Will Smith has just saved the lad from the robots when they start attacking everyone, they are talking, the lad says something that should probably be mother f***** but it comes out as mother damn.

Cant say I remember him saying that in the cinema and with the film being a PG-13/12A I doubt they could have got away with 'Mother ****er' without getting a 15 rating so maybe it was original in the film but was re-dubbed before it was released to get a lower rating.

He says "mother damn" on the R3 version too. It also looks like "damn" was
the original phrase rather than being dubbed over the word "f*****".
I didn't see the film in the cinema so I can only comment on what i've seen / heared on the dvd.

    Hello

Will Smith has just reprimanded the young lad for cussing (as he did earlier in the film), therefore he says damn rather than the usual :censored:.

He also tells him to stop as he is no good at it , hence the strange way of saying it
