This is my FIRST post on the Forum, been a reader for a long time...

I am looking to buy a I-Pod 30 or 60GB Black. Its going to be used in my Office as a Juke Box (as I cant find a MP3 Play that has Built in Speaks like the old Tape/CD systems)...

I want to buy a Nice Speaker set... I've found 3x nice Options... But not to sure what is the BEST? I wanted one with a Good R/C as I am Disabled & need to use it via R/C

    Option 1:
    I-Pod Hi-Fi (LINK to Amazon)

This looks AWESOME... 100% on the Looks... Note sure on Sound & R/C? Would love it in BLACK :smashin:

    Option 2:
Intempo IFI-01 - 2.1 iPod Hifi Sound System (Link to Amazon)

    Looks nice & different...

    Option 3:
    Bose SoundDock (Link to BOSE)

Is it me or does this look CHEAP? Next to the I-Pod Hi-Fi this looks HORRID... But I hear on QVC & other sites that Bose are supose to be GOOD.

So here you have my Top 3 list... (or recomend others)

Anyone here Own one of the x3 Above? Can you Give your Views??

I would like the R/C to have Wheel Motion like I-Pod but I dont think they are like this

IMO the best of the lot is the iPod Hifi. I demo all three of these systems all day and this one tops the lot for the following reasons.
    a: best sound
b: can be run on batteries or mains (unlike the Bose)
    and
c: has a aux 3.5mm input on the back for connecting anything else (again unlike the Bose)

    Hope this helps

Funny thing was that I went for the iPod Hi-Fi all ready to hate it to bits and found that it grew on me. It's not got the best sound for the price, but it is very useful. I've not tried enough to be anywhere near authoritative but the Hi-Fi works for me. And believe me, no-one's more surprised than me about that.

BUT, if the iDeck is really purchasable for £99 it does seem to be a total bargain.

The I-Deck is a nice piece of kit but i've had a few back where the dock connecter gets loose and will only play your iPod if you shove a piece of cardboard behind it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As I have mentioned in other posts on this subject, IMHO the Monitor Audio i-deck is excellent, especially at the Amazon price of £99, it has a basic remote control, on/off, volume, & skip forward/back. It's definitely not a portable item though.
