    im looking for a amplifier and receiver in 1 if there is such a thing

    i want to connect a cd player with 2 speaker setup an my dvd player with the 5.1 setup

    is there anything u can show me to do this if not what is there like this

    also the cheaper the better

    You only have a choice of maybe 1000 units? :)

    If you want something cheap check out the classified ads.

    BTW: AV amp = no radio, AV receiver = built in radio

    I put AV in there since you mentioned DVD.

    Define low cost. £200 receivers can be had from the likes of Marantz and Yamaha.

    yeah between 100-200 im on a tight budget an just looking for a simple setup so any model which would be good for me

    It is best to buy a known brand and one that is as recent as possible so that the dreaded disease 'upgraditis' takes more time to settle in.
