You can get an ATI Radeon 9550 with a DVI out for approx £35 you will need a DVI cable & a DVI to HDMI adaptor.Whatever you get try & get a card with DVI the picture quality is so much better.
If you want to get a better card i sugest a Radeon 9800 pro or a Nvidia 6600GT but a
9550 should be fine for most people.

The amount of ram wont matter atall Kourosh, not for dvd playback, thats more to do with textures in games etc

You could try one of the ATI all in wonder cards with the tv tuner aboard i don't know how they compare with my PCI tv card.
Prob any card with DVI would be fine however it would be worth getting at least a radeon 9200 they were around £30 2 months ago.
a VGA card will give you a good picture just not a great one
