Im trying to create a DVD video from DV. Using the USB2 port I can transfer the footage accross to my pc but about 20 minutes into the movie the sound slips out of sync by 1 or 2 seconds.

The footage was created using Ulead MovieFactory (uncompressed avi). I need to sync the sound and video. Can anyone help me? Ive tried importing the video into Sony Vegas 7 but I can only view the sound track and not video.

What I'm looking for is a simple program where I can edit the avi file to correct the sync issue.

    Thanks.

Do you have access to cubase or nuendo?
This would let you move the audio down to the smallest sample( if your audio is at 48k then 48,000 samples per second) You can then render it back as a finished film.

As for vegas only letting you see the audio track im not sure.
I hope this helps a little..

    Thanks for your reply.

Im hoping its because im using USB and not firewire. Ive ordered a firewire card so I hope this does the trick.
