i need an amp

    i wonder if any one can help i have a BOSE - ACOUSTIMASS 3 series II on the sub woofer they say 2 times 50 watts iec and nominal impedance 5 ohms i am wanting to buy a micro system and would like to know what power of amp i need to run these properly i have been looking at the Onkyo CR-715 DAB which is 50 watts per channel minimum into 4 Ù, 1 kHz, IEC this means nothing to me would this do the job or do i need something else thanks

    My friend you are in the speaker forum. It is better to post your question in the amplifier and integrated receiver section.

    PS: as your system is only a two chanel system you have to ask yourself if you want to go all the mileage and get yourself a home cinema amplifier that can drive 5 or 7 speakers and a subwoofer.:D
