    Evening all,

I need a single input/dual output Component Video Box to connect onto the single component video output on my amplifier to feed seperate TV and Projector....does anyone know of a UK supplier for this requirement?

    Cheers,

    Tom...

    Hello dogzdinner

We supply the Zektor Video Switcher range in the UK and the 4:1 YUV + Stereo or Digital audio switcher can be reverse wired as a 1:4 Switched Distribution amp - see http://www.zektor.com/hds4/index.html

Key question is do you require both the TV and Projector on simultaneously?

    Best regards

    Joe

Thanks for the reply....I don't need any audio switching though but I do need the opportunity to run both projector and TV if possible.

£410 is a lot of money for something I'll only use a quarter of the features of!

Thanks for replying though....is there anything else you can recommend?

    Cheers,

    Tom...

If it was an 'either or' set-up then the sub £250 HDS4 would have done the trick - and just for the record the HDS4.2 (twin output) switcher is sub £400.00 :)

If you require a 'both on' solution then its quite tricky getting something that 'only' does 1:2 YUV distribution - most kit will have more functionality than your looking for.

One factor you need to consider being the length of your cable runs - the Zektor HDS4.2 for example has 1 x Passive + 1 x Driven Output; ideal if you have 1 x Short + 1 x Long cable run.

A couple of options you could consider are:

    3 x Kramer PT-102VN @ £92.82 each (UK SRP).

    See http://www.kramerelectronics.com/indexes/pic.asp?p=PT-102VN

    1 x Kramer VP-72 @ £468.82 (UK SRP).

    See http://www.kramerelectronics.com/indexes/desc.asp?p=VP-72

    Best regards

    Joe

I have one 'short' (5m) and one 'long' (12m) cable run....I could probably put up with having a one or the other scenario.....

So how much would I be looking at including P&P?

    Cheers,

    Tom...
