Can anyone shed light on this subject as i'm getting mixed feedback on the quality of sound?

Is it worth the extra £££ to go this route or will a Pioneer AX3 be as good as the AX5i??

    Thanks,

    Gez. :lease:

I-link is the way to go if you want DVD-A/SACD

I didn't so I went for the AX3 instead with no regrets. :)

Gez - IMO the AX5i is a better amp all round than the AX3 and haveing the "ilink" is a bonus for connections and sound, well worth the extra money.

    Cheers everyone!

Just had a mate round who has a AX5i and he says its brill, although i only have 2 SACD's!!

    That 2014 looks promising!

Still undecided to be honest, maybe try a demo at local av shop.

    Thanks all.
