    About 10 seconds after windows starts, it says something like..

    C:/PROG~RUNDLL~PROG~RUNDLL.... Could not execute or something.

    It's obviously a partly deleted programme that was somehow selected to launch at my Windows start up.. I have no idea what it is though must be a mistake.

    It's easily closed and doesn't affect anything but it's annoying and means it takes slightly longer to boot my laptop up, does anyone have any clue how I can get into my startup folder/settings and delete it or something ?

    Cheers.

    If you go to Start -> Run -> Msconfig.exe

    You will see the following screen; look for the program that is trying to be launched under the start up tab and untick it.

    This won't remove any software but it will prevent the annoying message.

    Hape this helps :)

    Open the registry editor (Start, Run, Regedit)
    Navigate to
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> Software -> Microsoft -> Windows -> Current Version -> Run

    Everything that starts on boot is in there, have a look & see if anything looks familiar to the path of your error message, delete it and that should sort you out.

    Thanks both, it should be solved now just a bit unexperienced with that type off error as I've never had it.
