I have most of the THX trailers on vcd (including the Little Man Repairing The Logo, Orchestra, Cows and Simpsons ones) if any of you are interested. I authored them myself from .vob files, so I can vouch for their quality.

If you supply a SAE I can copy them for the price of a blank cdr (75p) or cdrw (£1).

They may not be dd sound, but they're great for showing off.

Probably a silly question, but what is the audio format of these? I assume they are stereo (or maybe prologic?)

Yeah, dd5.1 to stereo with prologic matrix. I also have Star Wars Ep1, but it's not great (looks to have been recorded in a cinema with a camcorder).

I have the vob files on my PC, which, since I use it for my home cinema, has Dolby Digital output. I can therefore play any of the Dolby trailers in Dolby Digital whenever I want. My fave bit is when Tex nudges the H over. It's a grinding sub-bass oomph which at near reference level sounds totally awesome!
