I have a 6-year old Sherwood amp/receiver (don't laugh) which has just packed up on me. I need to replace it, but only have £100. I don't need an integrated tuner or Dolby 5.1, the only requirement is that it has 4 inputs and sounds good!

    Any ideas? Cheers!

The Alchemist LA5000 from Richers looks trés nice. £69.95. Search here for a thread on it.

just go to your local richer sounds, and pick up one one of the end of lines, or 2nd's

Do you need any surround stuff??

If not ... look at Sony, Marantz and Denon down at Richer Sounds for a stereo amp.

A secondhand NAD c320 would get my vote. They sound very good. :)
