I too was worried, having read about the problems encountered by some forum members.

However, my 36PD30 came last week and I'm very pleased with it, so don't lose any sleep!

Just remember two things:

(1) look at it from normal viewing distance and

(2) don't expect perfection (even at this price).

Oh yes, and it's VERY heavy!
