    Here goes

    People have vhs to watch films and record TV

    DVD has managed the first now the Pace twin is here for the second.

    Yes my Beta decks are still in use and have survived to the end of vhs.:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

    Its abit premature for that. besides DVD-r has been around for 12+ months now surely that was when vhs lost its reign.
    Besides knowing you you will be using those Beta decks when we we have direct brain stimuli!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:rolleyes:

    No one of them is starting to get terminal motor bearing wear, the other has only 10 years head life left.

    Well I think the idea of DVD as a day to day recordable medium is slightly messy.

    However I do have DVD-R in the PC and I have used nearly 30 blanks so far.
