£500 for a new dvd player. I am going to connect straight to my Panny using component. I need two digital outputs, one for the amp and one for my headphones. PQ is of the highest importance with cd playback coming a very distant second. Must be multi-region. Anyone know of any bargains.

And if you can answer those questions.....perhaps you might be able to tell me where to get tickets for the ashes.

Guess the two obvious choices are the Toshiba SD-9500, Denon 2900, Pioneer 668 or 757. All are now <£500, if you look around.
