Some years ago, in some considerable poverty, lying on the bare floors of a squat in East London I was introduced to a little 'Transparent Radiation' and ever since that day 'The Perfect Prescription' stayed in a little hole of it's own at the back of my mind, having played a small role in a particular phase of my life.

Some years later I was bought, as a gift, Ladies & Gentleman We Are Floating In Space. Therein I was truly Spiritualized and sought to bring clarity to those earlier memories of the Spacemen 3 day's.

The journey continues, I simply can't shake the sound, whatever that is. I'm not sure whether it is Jason Pierce or Pete Kember (Sonic Boom), certainly together they are magic but apart, in current collaborations elsewhere, they still seem to echo their former selves - sublime spacerock brilliance.

Today I bought an Original copy of 'Playing With Fire' (Spacemen 3) on Orange Vinyl. It's spinning on my turntable and is the best thing that has happened to my Stereo since it was set up. It F***ing rocks! :D

Next stop... a bit of Spectrum with a pinch of E.A.R ..can't wait :D

I've only got one SP3 poster, that came with a 12" I've got by them..ahm just realised - I've PM'd you saying that I've only for SP3's 1st and 2nd 12" on vinyl...in fact, I think I've got most of their 12"'s on vinyl...I'm afraid I'm not selling them tho...

for anuyone that doesn't know anything about spaceman3 - they released a compliation album entitled - taking drugs to make music to take drugs to

this is stunning - The Perfect Prescription

How pleased am I? :rotfl: VERY :rotfl:

Why? Peter Kember has been in touch with me :D :D :D

He is sending me, from his archives, a c86 SP3 poster with un published lyrics hand written on the back! :D :D OMG

I was looking for a great poster for my new HE room... this is perfect.

O.K. a bit of a gloat... but I could not contain my enthusiasm..as you know, I'm in a bit of a Spacemen 3 phase at the moment :)

... and to have a poster, with provenance, and un known lyrics.. it couldn't be better :)

wow, that is cool...respect to Peter...how did you get in touch with him..?

just thinking about it - I used to colelct posters (from the wall, where else?) from the riverside venue up at newcastle, I must have about 75 ish posters..??? they're mostly indie bands who've performed live there including spaceman3, sonic youth, GBOA, Loop, galaxie 500...sigh, those were the days...
