Actually I don't any more. Hopefully KEF have resolved it but it will be interesting if KEF pick up on this.

Are there another manufacturers out there monitoring this forum for problems / dissatisfied customers before things get out of hand? It would be interesting to know...please post if you are.

Welcome to the forum. I feel you may find it VERY useful for Kef and interesting in it's diversity of subjects, not just speakers.

There are many talented people out there contributing. I'm glad you picked up this thread, any other manufacturers moinitoring out there?

By the way the 34 have hit the dealer. I am hoping to get them to a friend to bring up to me on friday.

    Ron,

Now that truely 'IS' a really good thing to see. At least one manufacturer is looking this way to get some feedback.

    Nic,

Are the 34's the ones you were after before with all the supply holdups?
Interested as to KEF customer service really. As you know, my house is all KEF ( :D), but it's nice to know they take an interest in the real world at least. :)

    Ron,
Sorry to hijack this thread but I have a pair of Kef Model 2's, and I was wondering if there is an upgrade for them like tweeter replacement. Also Interested to know the difference in tweeters between the four Models?
    Cheers. :D

As you are aware the Reference Two's have been upgraded to the Two point Two.
    The primary changes made were:
Stronger Magnet on the tweeter for more control at higher frequencies.
Stiffer mid-range cone for less distortion at higher mid frequency.
Poly caps on the network for a cleaner signal path.
    New finishes.

We do not offer an upgrade facility for the earlier model, though spare parts are available for the Ref 2's.
Our aim is to carry spare parts for 10 years or until stocks are exhausted, so no problem with supplying any parts for the latest Reference series.

The tweeter for the Reference is the same throughout the Reference Series family (including the Reference series centre channels and RDM range).

    Hope this helps!

    Regards
