    Hi everyone.

I have recently purchased a Panasonic pwd6 (a great bit of kit by the way) but it doesn’t have any speakers or a headphone socket (this is not out of ignorance I did know before I bought it).

I have an amp so I can enjoy a truly cinema like effect at home, but hears where my problem comes in. at night not every one likes to have a cinema in there front room, especially when they are trying to sleep.

So I need a pair of headphones, but as I have said there is no socket on the plasma so I need to somehow connect them straight to my dvd player.

So this is my question, is there such a thing as phono headphones or is there some kind of adaptor I can buy.

All help would be much appreciated, as I’m starting to get very evil looks at breakfast.

    Thanks Lee.

OK if amp has a TAPE loop not used, ie a line level output, then get a head phone amp takes stereo analog input and give you volume control then a decent set of headphones and away you go!

That lead in the link you posted with the two phono to female jack plug looks like it will work . I am pretty sure you can by headphones with volume controll built in. My dad used to have a pair of philips ones. I will do some hunting about and see what I can find :)
