Question I have a humax tv lp32-tdr1 when I switch on the tv the screen is dark and fluttery it will last all

    Humax tv lp32-tdr1 when switching on the screen is dark and fluttery. This can last for hours and some times all day. Can anyone help

    This is probably because the CCFL tubes that back light the screen are failing. It will be impossible or uneconomic to repair the tv which must be about 7 years old. LCDs are now back lit by LEDs. I have two CCFL sets which are still working perfectly but they will eventually fail this way.

    West Bromwich, eh. There's still a few TV repairers who can save you money. I'd expect to find a few in your area. Failing that, there's "Telefaults" in Stoke on Trent.
