    Greetings all,
First post on the forum so apologies if I do something wrong...

I need your expertise to help me find out if the product of my dream exist.

I am looking for a server/box with multiple entry (2 satellite with appropriate tuner and access cards + Aerial TV + NAS connection to share movies that would be able to send all these content to multiple TV via an Ethernet cable.

In a perfect world, I would start a TV in one room and will be able to flick between the UK, FR. IT channels coming from satellite & Aerial feed, then start Kodi and be able to browse the movie collections only with the TV remote...

Last but not least, I would be able to start apps like Netflix/Amazon Video to watch streaming content.

All of that in perfect legality (all satellite receiver with genuine access cards). What I am after is a remote Video content aggregation that I can install in a garage for example.

    Money is not a problem...

So, am I crazy or the solution exists somewhere?
    Thanks all

Sky Satelite will be your issue, doing it legit means you cant use a PC with a DVB-S2 card

You could build a media PC (or HTPC) that does most of that. I have a PC that has dual DVB-T2 tuners and a DVB-S2 tuner, as well as running Plex, Kodi etc.

    Sky is possible, but tricky.

    Start here: Home Entertainment Computers

PC is the way to go.

I would (do) use openelec it comes with TVHeadend which will manage all your satelites for you.

I would use the PC as a server then have android boxes on the TVs through Kodi you will be able to watch and control the satelite feeds and have other apps for netflix etc.

As for using the TV remote it can be done in Kodi using a Flirc but you will still need the origional remote to start the app

No idea how well it works but my Minix Android box has an option to be controlled by CEC so in theory could be used with a TV remote. Personally I prefer either my Pronto Remote or the Air Mouse remote I have but the facilty is there.

PCs dont work with HDMI CEC (well not without additional hardware anyway).

I was talking about your idea of using an android box as a client for other telly's.

Your big issue could be a client which can do live TV well and Amazon (Netflix is easy).

Fire TVs are shocking at live TV, so that rules them out. Nvidia Sheild and wetek core do Netflix and live TV well, but there's no official Amazon method for TV. Not sure on the apple TV? MrMC (kodi sort of port) is in the appstore and the developer is the original kodi apple dev so it should be good.

Have a look at an openelec box as your TV server - I use this with dual sat inputs and it works well. HD Homerun might be a neat option too.

Edit - on CEC the nvidia shield works really well with CEC control via my TV remote.
