Hi guys, as above, i currently have a 46'' tv but may upgrade by the end of the year but need a wall bracket for my lounge in the meantime

So maybe something that wont need to be replaced if i do go bigger

    Any recommendations?

ideally something that sits pretty flat

A lot of mounts can handle that range. Just be sure to get one that has a universal mounting pattern, or at least a good range of mounting patterns. That will keep your options open when you upgrade. Good luck!

I totally agree on this. Universal mounting pattern enables flexibility with your options in your future upgrades. You can find a lot of these from Amazon or Ebay at the best possible prices.
