Have £80 vouchers with Richer Sounds, and am prepared to add £40 of my own money, but only if it's worth it. Needs to be easy to operate as it's for my parents who are getting to the age where technology is starting to baffle them. From the list in the link, what would you recommend between the £80-120 range?

I don't think you can go to far wrong with the Pioneer 575.

It's got Scart and Component, is very straight forward to setup and plays pretty much anything you throw at it.

I've got one for Divx playback primarily and can't complain for the money.

As a 575 owner I totally agree that the 575 is an amazing DVD player for the money.

But if its just something for the parents I'd get something a bit more basic such as the cheaper Pio (370 is it?) and spend the spare on something else... perhaps the enhanced warranty plus a decent lead?

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I think I'll go for the 575 then. :)
