If I spend so much money for calibration

A pro calibration is relative to how badly set up your plasma and tv are in the first place.
If you are desperatly unhappy with the picture quality then a calibration will make a significant difference. If how ever you have a plasma that has been well set up at source then a calibration will only make a small difference. In both cases though you should be able to see a difference, even if it is a small one.
I had mine done by gordon, and trust me If I could not see a diffrenec I would have let him know :D

    Phil,

Many thanks for the nice words ( and I didn't pay you a penny for them!).

    David,

You only have to look at your past postings to know that you have done the research and know how to set up a plasma yourself - yet Gordon improved it - Q.E.D.,

    ISF calibration works.

    Yes
    I confess.
    I got jealous.
If there were an isf technician in my country i would spend the money coz i believe it deserves it.
But you see, Cyprus is 10 years behind, in terms of technology.

I tell you what, Being the overally fussy, pain in the backside that i am, gordon would have been the first person to know if i had not been happy with the calibration :rotfl: :rotfl: :smashin:

and with quite a bit of interest from the Cardiff area there may be scope for some "travel sharing" if calibrations can be done immediately after the Bristol show ;)

Having spent my honeymoon in Cyprus 22 years ago I would love to go back - But Ayia Napa ain't what it was then - a relatively undeveloped jewel - not a nightclub in sight, just some great hotels and an idyllic beach. :D :D :D

I think you re right Pier.
Ayia Napa is now full of night clubs and thousands of tourists visit it in the summer just for night fun.
I don t like this kind of holiday neither.
There is another place near ayia Napa, called Protaras which is just like agia napa 10-15 years before.
Much more beautiful and quiet place than ayia napa.
And I m not saying this just to convince you to come and calibrate my tv.

    It s the truth.

    Well?
    Will you come? :D

Leerock, Piers is calibrating my 434 this coming Sun or Mon. I will try to convince him... ha! However, should I "fail".. I would recommend you also contact the two ISF trained people in Greece. Most likely they could do the trip to Cyprus. See www.imagingscience.com.

    Thanks Costas
I ve emailed the greek ISF dealer but they most likely can t offer this service in Cyprus unless I pay for the trip
    which makes us
    100 p + 250 p = 350 p. :D
I think thats a lot money for ISF.
I m happy with the PQ though. :)
