i got the 52 element AERIAL from argos

    it doesnt pick up signal

    sn34bd is my post code

    on my bungalow will i make any difference if i position outside

    does it matter if its on the chimmney

    im quite experience but never been the roof is it safe

    please help

    the aerial man wanted upto £200 :(

    Not really sure what you're asking here....if you're saying that that the aerial is currently indoors,then it's no surprise that you aren't getting much of a signal.

    Ideally the aerial should be mounted as high as possible(thus chimney mounting is usually chosen)and it will need to be positioned to receive the signal from the nearest/strongest transmitter available to you.

    If you haven't had experience of fitting external aerials,it's a job best left to an experienced fitter,although you should be able to get a cheaper quote by phoning around a bit.

    £200 is extemly high just to fit an ariel. We got one put up last July , 5 stories up and a flat roof as well , for £60 from a local guy.
    Shop around , you will get it cheaper and it is best to get someone experience to do it for you.
