I get sky hd on friday

so ive had a quick count and there are 8 channels (not inc the movies)

are there any plans for more hd channels?

i got sky hd mainly for the sky sports football in hd but when i asked sky about possible new channels they said they did not know

FXUK indicated they would launch a HD channel this year but it looks like it won't be with us until next year. That's about it on the HD front unless the BBC get the PVT completed and their test channel becomes a fully fledged offering.
