Just cancelled the HD subscription. Over-noisy fans and hard disks just interfered too much with enjoyment of HD channels. I am now on my third box - all of them sounding like hoovers. The various glitches also show that the box design is just not mature enough yet for consumer use - ticker tape news distortion, the reduced volume on HD channels, the delays in changing channels etc. And in reality there was just not enough WOW factor for me when I compared HD to SD. The Aquariavision was great but I am more interested in the footballvision.
So back to Sky+ for the time being
By the way, I got a special £149 deal by buying a 20in tv at PC World - but took the tv back because it wasnt suitable but still kept the £149 deal. I did buy another tv from a different store later.
