Yep I've used neovo monitors in stud walls with a glass front and an aluminium frame cut so you only see the "screen" not the monitor bezel.

The neovo monitors have their s-video input hooked up to a sky box and I've used Xantech ir-repeaters to get the remote signal to the sky box in a cupboard in the bedroom. Oh and a seperate amp to drive the ceiling speakers.

I should do some photos and a rough guide to how I did it if only I could find the time!...

Let me know if you have q's...

need heated glass really otherwise it steams up.....
    http://www.boundarybathrooms.co.uk/aquavision-bathroom-televisions.html
some ok pics lifted from brochures etc.
Aquavision are the nuts, or tilevision are a cheaper option.
    http://www.porta.co.uk/main.html

DIY option is possible but adding heated glass makes it almost as much as a proper unit.

Another option away from wet area's is this: http://www.aviproducts.com/fliptv.html

Phillips have developed an LCD panel that you can stick to any peice of glass,

Mine may not have heated glass but they do the biz at less than a quarter of the price of the aquavision, tilevision etc.

Maybe I should sell them... :D

Oh - forgot to mention we did put an anti mist treatment on the glass - same stuff you use for glasses, helmet visors etc and it works a treat... ;-)

CI installers have been doing it for years mate, a fair few B&O sets have been built into the end of Baths etc.
Best one i have seen is a 42" plasma built into a cabinet in a guys garden for use while he is in his hot tub. Nice thing with Aquavision etc is they can be built into shower cubicles etc quickly and relatively easily.

    Go here... http://www.schaeffer-apparatebau.de/English/FPD_index.htm

You can design a frame using the software. It tells you how much it will cost. Enter your card details and they cut the frame to your spec and post it to you from Germany.
I did it for a frame for a 15" screen and it's perfect.
